I have loved sports my whole life. Always loved going to ball games with my friends. Started in middle school. I enjoyed staying after school with my friends to watch football and basketball games. In high school my friends and I went to almost all the Friday night home games. Everything about it was great. The rivarly between the teams and fans, the cheering and celebrating, and of course the food.
Being a diva, the normal t-shirt and jeans was not always an option. In high school, especially on spirt week for homecoming, bigger and more was always better. Adding knee high socks and crazy shoes was always a good option for game day. Fun bows in the hair, face painting, and costume jewelry in school colors were always a great way to show spirit as well. For the homecoming pep rally one year, I wore, a red school T-shirt tied in a knot on the side, cut off jean shorts, over the knee bright red socks, and black slides. I also put my hair up in pig tails with red hair accessories.
As an adult I was lucky enough to have many friends that have the same love for professional football as I do. GO PANTHERS!! Football parties and going to games at the stadiums were a common thing for us. The biggest thing for me was, WHAT TO WEAR? Wearing the same outfit every Sunday was not exactly my ideal dress code. I have worn blinged out jerseys, cut up T-shirts, tied T-shirts, hats, and hair accessories galore. I have worn my make up in team colors and toned down the team outfit, or worn make up very neutral and gone all out for the outfit. There are always endless options.
The day the photo with this post was taken, we were at the Houston Texans game. My dad took us there. Even got us before game passes to the field. What an experience! I had planned my outfit for weeks. I custom ordered the shirt I am wearing off of Etsy. I can not remember where I found the earrings but they were a perfect match for what I had invisioned.
