Spooky Season Gym Outfits: Halloween Week Inspiration

Halloween is one of my favorite days of the year, so of course I had to bring a little spooky-season energy into my workouts that week. On Halloween day, my gym even encouraged us to dress up (workout-friendly costumes only, of course)—and I saved that look for last.

The best part? I didn’t spend a single dollar on any of these outfits. Every look was pieced together using items I already had in my closet. So if you’re thinking you need to spend a fortune to get festive for one week out of the year, think again.

Day 1 gym fit, spooky in pink

This one is my absolute favorite.

The shirt is from the TikTok Shop and perfectly blends Mean Girls, spooky season, and breast cancer awareness. Breast cancer awareness is especially close to my heart. My aunt is currently in her second battle with breast cancer, and one of my dear friends earned her angel wings on Halloween last year after bravely fighting the disease until the very end.

The shorts are running shorts I purchased from Amazon. I love them for the gym because they’re flexible, comfortable, and layered—so there’s no worry about anything showing that shouldn’t.

The shoes are my hot pink Converse, which I’ve had for what feels like forever. I love wearing shorts and Converse on leg day. Flat shoes are a must for leg day, and these are both practical and on-brand for me.

Day 2 gym fit, big on the pig

This look leans fully into effortless, fashion-forward gym style.

The shirt is a vintage-feeling Piggly Wiggly tee I picked up on a bachelorette trip a few years ago—one of those pieces that always sparks a conversation. I styled it over black Fabletics workout leggings with the matching black sports bra underneath for a clean, streamlined base.

The socks are sugar skull socks my friend Haley gave me ages ago, and by pure luck they’re the exact same shade of orange as the shirt—proof that the best styling moments are sometimes unplanned.

I finished the look with Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star mid-tops and my Beats headphones to keep it cool, comfortable, and gym-ready.

Day 3 gym fit, work harder

The top is a sweatshirt from Drive Clothing—effortless, cozy, and perfect for throwing on before or after a workout.

Underneath, I’m wearing a sports bra from Fabletics for support and comfort. The sweatpants are a TJ Maxx find and originally came as part of a set with a tank top. I loved the pants so much that they’ve become a repeat in my rotation—I truly wear them all the time.

I finished the look with my go-to black Converse, which I’ve had for what feels like forever. They’re a staple for a reason and tie the whole laid-back, cool-girl gym vibe together.

Day 4 gym fit, all black everything

The top is a plain black workout tee from Amazon—simple, versatile, and easy to style with anything.

The shorts are black compression shorts, also from Amazon, with pockets on both sides (a non-negotiable for me). They’re supportive, functional, and perfect for a solid gym session.

I paired the look once again with my trusty black Converse for a grounded, no-fuss finish. And because details matter, my 2025 Halloween cup from Buc-ee’s was the perfect festive touch to tie everything back to spooky season.

Day 5, witchy vibes

The tank top and leggings are both from CVG (Constantly Varied Gear). I didn’t purchase either piece specifically for this week—everything was already in my closet. I originally bought the leggings a while ago and even styled them as part of a witch costume last year. I loved them so much that they’ve stayed in regular rotation ever since.

The tank was a piece I picked up simply because I liked it, and I’ve worn it many times before. This look is another reminder that you don’t need to shop new to create something fun, festive, and gym-ready—sometimes the best outfits are already waiting in your closet.

Conclusion

These were my Halloween week gym outfits. I love having fun with what I wear to the gym—it’s one of my favorite ways to stay motivated. When I like my outfit, I’m instantly in a better mood, and that happiness carries into my workout. I’m more likely to stay focused, push through, and fully commit to my workout for the day.

Sometimes motivation really is as simple as getting dressed in something that makes you feel good.
