We all know that shower—the one where you truly indulge. You take your time, savor the warmth of the water, wash and condition your hair, shave everywhere, exfoliate, and finish with rich moisturizers. It’s not just another task to check off your list, but a moment of pure self-care and relaxation.
Let’s talk about the Everything Shower—the ultimate self-care ritual. Here are some of my favorite ways to enhance the experience and make it even more rejuvenating.
Elevate the Senses with Scents
A simple but effective way to elevate your Everything Shower is by adding a shower steamer. These little wonders come in a variety of scents, making your shower experience more aromatic and therapeutic.
Tip: Choose a calming lavender shower steamer if you plan to wind down afterward or go for an invigorating eucalyptus scent if you have plans for the day. To add a touch of elegance, use a cute steamer tray to hold it in place while you shower.

There are also very cute shower steamer trays to put these while showering.

Revitalize Your Hair
A deep conditioning hair mask is a must during an Everything Shower. After shampooing, I apply my favorite hair mask, clip my hair up, and let it work its magic while I shave, exfoliate, and pamper myself. Toward the end of the shower, I rinse it out, leaving my hair silky and hydrated.
Tip: Be cautious! Hair masks can make the shower floor slippery, so rinse off any excess product from the floor to avoid a slip. I’m currently using the Eva NYC hair mask, and it’s been a game-changer.

Exfoliate for Smooth, Glowing Skin
Exfoliation is key to an Everything Shower. I like to use separate exfoliators for my face and body. For my face, I use a dual-sided tool—one side for exfoliating and the other for gentle, daily cleansing.
Tip: Exfoliating once a week is enough to reveal smooth skin without overdoing it. Don’t forget to clean your exfoliation tools thoroughly after each use to maintain hygiene.

Get that glowing skin
After my shower, moisturizing is non-negotiable—especially after shaving and exfoliating. I apply a rich, hydrating moisturizer as soon as I step out of the shower to lock in moisture and keep my skin glowing
Tip: Opt for a thicker moisturizer after exfoliating to nourish your skin deeply.

Designer or not, no bags wanted.
To finish off my self-care routine, I like to treat my eyes to some TLC. If I’m heading out after my shower, I use **under-eye patches** to help reduce puffiness and brighten my look. On days when I have a bit more time, I opt for over-eye pads and lay down for a relaxing moment of zen.
Tip: For an extra cooling and de-puffing effect, store your eye patches in the fridge

Final Thoughts
The Everything Shower is more than just a routine—it’s a way to recharge and treat yourself with the care you deserve. Self-care doesn’t have to be elaborate or time-consuming, but it’s essential to prioritize yourself so you can be your best for others.
What products or rituals do you incorporate into your Everything Shower? How often do you indulge in this luxurious self-care routine? I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions in the comments!
Flauntly Yours,
