Flauntly Yours

This year for Christmas my husband surprised me by taking me to Biltmore to see the lights.

This is something I have been wanting to do for years.

The weather called for rainy, cold, and windy weather.

I still wanted to look good for our date.

This is what I wore.

SHOES

There is a lot of walking at Biltmore. I wanted to wear some comfortable, warm, but cute shoes.

I went with a pair of my Sorel boots.

TIGHTS

I bought a pair of fleece lined tights on Amazon.

I have never worn them. However, I wanted to wear a skirt for our date to Biltmore.

I was not disappointed. Not only were these warm, they were extremely comfortable.

SKIRT

I looked at so many plaid skirts. I knew that I wanted to wear a plaid skirt, just wasn’t sure which one.

This one was cute, but is extremely thin. and I do not like that the inside of it is such a light color.

It was comfortable, especially with the leggings.

SWEATER

The sweater that I wore with this outfit was one I have had for quite a while.

It is a plain white sweater with a black bow on the back.

COAT

Like I said in the beginning, the weather was not great on the day we went.

I still wanted a warm coat while still looking good for my husband.

I chose a purple, dressier ,coat that I have had.

I bought it a few years ago at Banana Republic.

HEAD WEAR

I did not wear any kind of hat due to there is a hood on the coat that I was wearing.

Also, I had fixed my hair. We were on a date after all.

After we ate dinner at The Biltmore, it got even colder due to the wind and the sun going down.

Because my wonderful husband is used to me not being prepared, he bought me a beanie in the gift shop.

CONCLUSION

This is what I wore on a date with my wonderful husband to The Biltmore.

It was weather appropriate except for not wearing something on my head. I would like to say I will be more prepared in the future, but I do not want to lie to you.

It was a date to remember. Everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We ate at The Stable Cafe. The Food was incredible. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to do something similar.
